Places to Stay For Masters Nationals
Always wanted to go to T-Town, but never been. Now that Masters Nationals is being held there, I will be going and would appreciate any recommendations on good places to stay that are close by. I don't know the layout of the area surrounding the velodrome and figured there are probably quite a few on here that are and could offer a few pointers in what areas to stay or avoid. I will have a car, so that may open up a few more options. Looking for something along the lines of a Holiday Inn, Marriott Courtyard, Hampton Inn, etc.....middle of the road to nicer, if that is available.

I was up there for several days at a time either racing or watching races in 2009-2012.
There are quite a few business style hotels in the area. Like within 5 miles of the track so you wouldn't have to fight with daily commuter traffic. Then further out into main city, even more. But, then you are in daily commuter traffic.
Sorry to not offer specific hotel names. I can't recall them. But, I can safely say, what you are looking for is up there and the hotels are modern.

Try thisIf the link doesn't work ( my first time trying to set up a hyperlink) do a google search for "hotels near Lehigh valley velodrome..
The ones on route 100 near route 78 are the most convenient as far as being close to the track. Not walking distance, but no more than 10-15 minutes by car.

That didn't work like I thought it would. Sorry.
There are 7 hotels clustered around the interchange of routes 100 and 78 that would be my first choice.
The others aren't much farther, but less convenient.

I booked the Motel 6 at Interstate 78 and Blue Barn Road. It looked like a reasonable distance from the track. I stay at a Motel 6 in Carson when I go down to VSC, and I'm okay with them.
