yes. this has really affected me. I think she could not bear the team returning home, some celebrating wearing their Tokyo kit, two silver medals, and she was not part of it. She did not feel part of the team any longer - in her mind. Gutting.

Oh, thanks so much for this update! Very kind of Alex to do this.
I read a follow up article in an NZ newspaper online that had some disturbing news; allegations of an unfair Olympic team selection process and worse yet, allegations of an improper relationship between a coach/staff and Olivia.
