Easton EC90 carbon track bar photo
Easton says it's 300 grams lighter, and stiffer than the same size of steel track bar...
I see one online for $389 US, or 180 british pounds. That's some money for a bar, comparing with road, it's priced up there with Cinelli and Kuota integrated stem-bar combos.
Has anyone tried one of these?

Yes. My sponsor got one in a fit of madness, couldn't sell it, and then offered it to me to try out. It's the same shape as a B123, it's actually stiffer (if you can imagine that), and it's about half the weight. Easton warranties it for life, I believe -- certainly it put up with a couple keirin crashes without hassle. It's very beefy and tough. The only issue with these bars (other than the humongous price) is the 31.8 mm clamp dimension -- if you ride a Look 496, you are dependent on one of very few prototype stems that Easton made to fit that particular bike with its nontraditional stem mounting.

I have one, it was a gift. My bike weighs twenty pounds with it installed. Don't really notice a difference but dang, one has to be careful not to scratch those things.
