Is there a Velodrome in or near Rome, Italy?

Hi. I'm looking into studying abroad over in Rome next semester and I just wanted to see if there was a velodrome in that area that was available for public use (or available with training or whatnot). Any info would be great. Also, does anyone here know about the road cycling surrounding Rome. I want to get as much riding in as possible while i'm over there.
Thank you!

Never got to Rome but the area IN the cities (Florence/Firenze, Siena, Milano) were madhouses that I wouldn't want to cycle in. That being said, right outside the city (and there is no endless suburb like there is here) on the rural/ hilly roads the cycling is great.

I stayed for a week around Orvieto--probably an hour by train north of Rome. Fantastic roads/ super friendly people who like cyclists, pigmy cars that zoom by on unstriped roads while always giving you 3". Lots of rolling hills. I was three other areas in the country and had the same great experience.

Take lots of bike supplies (a pump/ tubes)--was in lots of bike shops with loads of high end frames but the accessories they had on hand were "not the best." (I'm convinced Silica is just made to export and can't be found in Italy.)

Have fun.
