Miche Supertype seatposts
So...got this seatpost and was all excited until I tried inserting it. DID NOT FIT and I tried three of my bikes that all use 27.2mm. Measured it at 27.32-27.38mm. Out of round maybe? Anyone else had this problem? Sam

Not too sure, but theres a ton of folks with Supertype posts on the fixed gear/singlespeed forum. Try posting your question there.

I've run into off-sized Supertypes before. Seems like after they go through all the extra extrusion, milling, etc., the sizes just aren't that accurate.
Note also, by the way, that the Supertype has a nasty habit of breaking near the top at the cutouts. Somewhat like the aero Campy C-record post was known to do. The Supertype looks neat but I wouldn't necessarily trust it too far.
