One of the corners of the commonwealth games track here is under a lovely stand of trees, but gets plastered in leaves in the fall.

Gotta figure this track thing out. I've been told there are no hills.

I know those bikes! Were you at the opening of the velodrome tonight? I was there yesterday but was doing group intervals with my coach tonight in the valley.

Here is my whip. Probably a little much for a 60 yr old. It's a Fuji if you can't tell.

Wow. I can't even...

That's pretty much my dream build.

Yup. It was a really nice night for it too, tons of fun.

(They're not tiny, just clickable)

She's got Mavic Gel 280's, Zeus 2000 BB, Headset and drops, Campy crank (need to replace that if i ever find a zeus pista...) and cinelli pista bar/stem.

She's a sweet ride, but also my first and only track bike, so I may be biased :p

Looking better.

Why are the axles on your front wheel so long? That's a hazard.

Despite some initial concerns about the geometry, I'm getting very, very happy with this.

I saw this bike at Kissena! I would introduced myself but I didn't want to come across as some creep from the internet.

I really liked my Fuji Track Pro, but it was a touch too small. When a friend was selling his Planet X, I noticed the TT was about 1cm longer, and the geometry looked promising, so I swapped all my parts over. Quite fond of it. I think I will end up with a Dolan DF3 eventually, but for now this is suiting me.

oh hai hello!

Welp... I've decided to take the plunge and submit myself to some torture / humiliation / fun at Kissena once this thing is finished... Which will be soon enough. Exciting and terrifying at the same time. Wish me luck.

They do look good. Stock fork has quite a bit of rake in comparison to other track models, but that's not the end of the world. Feels pretty good to ride.

Here it is, finished, in "street" gearing.

Can't wait to take this thing to Kissena.

I've been continuing to dial in the fit. Here's how it is now. Feels SO much better than how I first had it.

Edit - better picture:

that fork rake make it seems that they made this bike for the street, it seems too relaxed
