Save our Velodrome!
https://www.usacycling.org/news/user/story.php?id=336
Robbie Ventura and Lance Armstrong made a donation towards an auction geared towards raising money to save the velodrome.
They donated their jerseys towards the cause. There's still one day left for anyone that wants to bid!
We need to repave the velodrome located in the northern suburbs of Chicago. This is not going to be enough, but hopefully, it will attract enough attention towards raising the money to get the repairs done before the next season!

thanks for raising awarness on the state of the northbrook velodrome. I didn't get to make it out this season, but hope to be able to next year.

Me too- it's right off the North Branch Trail bike path to the Botanic Garden, but the only problem is that trail closes at dusk. Otherwise, it's pretty difficult to get out to Northbrook from downtown when you don't have a car.
See you next summer?
