Giant Bowery as a Track Bike

hi there i just have a quick question, i know the giant bowery is a fixie that is more designed for the road but what are the chances of it being used as an entry level track bike?

There is a guy that has shown up a couple of times at our local track on open training night with one and seems to do okay. If you already own the bike it would be worth giving it a try. I would not go out and buy one specifically for track racing but would use it if I had one.

I raced one at nationals two years back. The bike never held me back.
