Just thought I'd share some pictures I took at Cologne's Albert Richter velodrome and Hamburg's Stellingen velodrome, from June 2011. This was my first visit to a velodrome, as the Olympic one in my home town was turned into a bio-museum in the early 90s.

Those pictures are gorgeous. Thanks for sharing! I’ll have to put the tracks on my German itinerary. Those are better than Google earth photos! ;-)

Ngggahhhh! I lived in Hamburg for a couple years. I miss German summers.

I don't miss the winters. No sunshine for 4 months and about 6 hours of daylight.

Were the last three pictures flipped?

Didn't mind to much, Hamburg was close to the North See so a couple of trips to the beach in Winter cleans out the cobwebs. And the snow.
