Nice throw for the line MArkWW! Did the guy on the inside drift off his line or never commit to the sprinters lane?

Thanks! I don't remember, but I don't think he commited. That said, it's actually kind of hard to stay in the sprinter's lane at Kissena. It's a combination of limited banking in the sprinter's lane (when the track went from 402m to 400m the old pole line became the sprinters line) and a bump in turn 4 caused by an underground sewer pipe.

From there, not during a race.

After riding there, CSprings is basically a road race.

Here's a pain face probably some 50 minutes into my own hour record.

Good number placement, MarkWW! Does Kissena have a judges' stand in the infield?

This is true.

Number placement is very important even for weekly racing. I've had to keep score before and when you've got 5 guys crossing the line within a second of each other, it's all you can do to remember the numbers. If I can't see your number, it goes down as a "?" and you don't get any points at all or maybe the 6th guy gets some points that he didn't deserve.

Went out to Marymoor for the first time over the weekend. I think I fell in love with the longer velodromes! Completely different than Alpenrose

A couple of shots from a Madison racing (click to enlarge):

I'm in blue here (bottom right) throwing in my partner (and giving him all of my momentum)

And in white here getting ready to drop in on a wheel once the handoff of the red team is done

At 50 degrees it feels verticle.

After nailing down 2" x 6" deck boards all day this past Monday, I did a workout that had me ride 1 hr @ Z3 with a 200m sprint every 3 minutes. I would ride up above the stayers line then dive bomb down and out of the turn when starting the Z7 intervals. What a rush! Can't wait for the facility to open next week.
