felt tk2 bb height
 

any one know of the bottom bracket height of the felt tk2 track bike,,can find all other measurements but not that

According to the website, the BB drop of the Felt Tk2 is 55mm. Same as the Felt TK1.

so knowing the bb drop is there a way of working out the bb height by working out the diameter of the whell and subtracting the drop from it?

Yeah, assuming you're on 700c's, your BB height would be the radius of your wheel minus the BB drop.

622mm - 55mm = 567mm (without a tire)

assuming you use tires on your bikes, it will be higher.

is it not half of 622 ? 622 is the diameter is it not and i need the radius?

567mm bottombracket drop would be as long as most peoples top tubes, Comeon son..

Measure your wheel height with tire on and inflated.

Half of that.

Minus bottom bracket height.

Theres your bottom bracket drop

why do you ask?

Just measured my 2008 TK2 and from the groud to the centre of the BB axle it's 290mm.
