The handlebar thread (Bend & Width)
Curious here -
What are you guys using for handlebars? What brands & what width? I'm a light-weight enduro guy on a long track (Marymoor, 400m), in the last two years I've used FSA Energy Traditional Bend 40cm, FSA New Ergo Round 40cm, & recently switched to some no-name 38cm bars that are 31.8 all the way across the tops & super-stiff. It's near the end of the season, and this is nothing more than curiosity. |
I am very new to track (4 race nights this season) at the same track as you, I am using a pair of Nitto B123aa (heat treated aluminum) which I got used. I feel like the drop in them is way to deep for me. Right now I'm just trying to dial in the fit of my bike but I will be considering changing them out next season. I will likely do one last race this year and might try out a strait pin seat post to see if that helps me get more comfortable in the drops. |
i'm an enduro, but i've always used B125s. shallow drop, the bend clears my wrists in a sprint, and I've always liked the added weight of steel handlebars.

Sloth, I wouldn't recommend changing your seat position to make you more comfortable with your handlebars, just the opposite in fact.
On topic, pretty stoked on my 38cm Easton EC90's! |

I've been riding Deda Elementi Pista bars which came stock with my bike. 42cm outside to outside...
