LA Home Depot Velodrome site
The UCI's site info...
24-27 March! Home turf! How can you pass up this opportunity to have a first hand account of World Class action?!
I'll be there! Will you? Let's get a roll call.
I'll be closing up the shop for a week to attend this super event. As I see it- I have no choice. I'm an addict! I couldn't stop even if I wanted to. Reputational ruin- come my way. I'm pissing off of work because true addicts have no choices in life.

marcus-
i am in the front row of the vip section 114 seats 18,19,20 on the aisle. It is the section just previous of the finish line. That section is all taken by journalists. I am going with Christian from Blazing Saddles here in Mpls and we are staying with Russ Denny. He is going to be using our third ticket. We should get together for drinks!!!!!

I had to buy a full event pass to get great seats. I need to sell a few sessions that I can't attend... Not looking to make a profit. Section 115, 3rd. row. Let me know if anyone you know needs tickets...

ps- I have a couple extra general admission tickets up for grabs... Anyone interested should PM me and buy me a drink. I'll be happy to share the experience.

How is the "General Admission" at the velodrome?
I've never been to a track event before, but this is close by, and I'm looking forward to it.

The general admission tickets are awesome seats- around turn 3 and 4 (sections 119-124 I believe). Awesome vantage point.
You've never been to a big track meet? If I we're you- I'd make this the biggest priority of the month. Just go to one session if that's all you have time for. But this is the chance of a lifetime! The World Championships probably won't make it back to the States for another 20 years.
And turn 3 and 4 will be awesome seats for Saturday night- great vantage point for the Team Pursuit! No better spot to see the exchanges. Believe me!
Also on Saturday night are the Mens Scratch race final, womens Sprints and Individual Pursuits as well as the preliminary rounds of the mens Sprints. Very cool!
Let me know Hawkear and I'll do my best to hook you up!

Excellent! Maybe we should set up a potential street fixed drinking/smoking/riding bender for one of the nights? Could be fun. I hear that LA isn't the best place to ride though. I've never been there. What do the locals think?
If you're looking for excellent tickets, check out this thread- https://www.bikeforums.net/singlespeed-fixed-gear/93726-world-track-championship-vip-tickets.html
