My current track bike is (53):

I'm looking into a Track Champion, geo is here: https://www.dpmsports.com/dolan/03-track/champion.html

My question is, do I go for a 54 Track Champ or a 52?

My coach told me that the 53 722ts (120mm stem) looked a little small, but I noticed that the HT angle and ST angle of the Track Champ are different from the 722. Would the steeper HT angle of the Champ put the bars farther out? Will the angles not matter, and I should just size up?

Thanks in advance!

P.S. The weird thing is, my road bike has a 530mm TT with a 120mm stem and "feels" less cramped than my track bike.

since you have coach ask him to recommend you a fitter.

my track and road bike have a 53.5 tt and similar geometry i use a 130mm stem. i don't use a setback seatpost. i could probably size up and get more comfy with the taller HT since both have a short HT but i'm just told myself HTFU.

according to your numbers i think you're about in the 54-56cm (sizing) in the dolan.

your current bike looks super tiny because it has a 110HT and hella steerer.
i don't think the .5 degree difference in the HT will be that noticeable.

good luck!

Thanks Al!

Looks like I'll go with the 54.
