Also, what chainring bolt setup are you using? I recall the Omniums having a really thick crank spider requiring double (as opposed to single) chainring bolts. Do you use Doubles or Singles? If doubles, how do you keep the backs from spinning? If singles, are you OK with the 2 threads of purchase you get with the bolts?

I raced it tonight. I'm happy with the quality of it for what I paid, and it felt solid underneath me.
I just use the Origin8 single speed steel chainring bolts. They definitely catch more than two threads, and I've never had any trouble with them. That being said, it's been a few years since I've used the stock 48t chainring which appears a bit thicker than the Salsa 50t and Dura Ace 51t that stay on the bike year round.

I think you're looking in the wrong direction with the weight saving attitude. Is it not a sprint bike? For my own custom Duratec, going from 1.6mm tubing (alloy) to 2mm for added stiffness/strength only came at a penalty of 30g for the frame.
Hydroformed tubes are where it's at I think. The flaring out of the bottom of the down and seat tubes on my bike give a nice chunky interface to the BB that I'm sure adds stiffness, without the expense of big chunky tube profiles. I was really hesitant about going alloy but I'm absolutely blown away by how stiff my bike is and how it handles in comparison to my previous carbon bike. Especially given the sheer size of the thing and associated tube lengths. The only thing I am lacking is the standard round seat tube but I'm happy with the alloy one. It hasn't budged under my fat butt!
People take pictures of my bike and look, not because it's sexy but because it looks like something out of a freak show!

My guess is that it's either subliminal messaging to get you to think you are ordering the best or maybe it's an invitation to the secret menu that allows you to request mavic decals for your knock off.

BTW, I can confirm that it's not the same mold as the Navigator N5. The Navigator is a symmetrical, non-directional 5 spoke.
Yours and the Mavic Io are offset and directional.

Wheels are inherently radially strong. Even cheap ones. Headtubes are just sleeves with a cheater bar/snipe passed through it.

Getting closer. I forgot how much I love the Arione saddle.

I got to see @theblackbullet's 5 spoke. It's really nice. It really does remind me of the Io I once owned. It even has a really narrow rim bed like the older Io.

I went from riding a 56cm LOOK 496 to a 61cm Snyder. It's like going from wearing too-tight shoes to properly fitting ones.

It feels unbelievable. I had also been saving up for a new road bike for years and stars aligned such that I got both the new track frame and road bike within a couple of months of each other. I also had myself fitted to both. Riding them was like an epiphany!

From someone just getting into the sport, thanks for all of the helpful info you post here.
I'm thinking about changing handlebars, and am curious what bars you're running on your bike. And how do they compare to the Scattos?

34cm Nitto B123 steel. But, I just recieved some 33cm Alpina bars as a birthday gift
This setup is 1lb lighter. So the bike should be about 18.75lbs (as a 61cm). I'll weigh it later to confirm. I got the 1lb difference by weighing the bar/stem combos individually.

The tilt feels more comfortable as I don't pull from directly above now that I have a longer top tube. When I had a 56, 57, and 58cm TT, I'd pull from directly above. Now that I'm on a 61, I'm pulling from slightly behind.
I'm still tinkering with things, though.
