2013 or 2014 Felt TK3?
My divorce was finalized today so I treated myself to a present!
I went to my LBS and they have to order either one so it doesn't matter what year I pick. The bikes are generally identical except the paint scheme. The 2013 TK3 was a more expensive bike only because of the value of the USD.
So he gave me an option:
2013 Felt TK3 at 20% off or a 2014 Felt TK3 at current price.
So the price ends up within $50 of each other (2013 is cheaper)
Is there any benefit at all to having a year newer bike if all parts are identical? Does it boil down to personal preference on color in this case?

As you have noticed, they are, for all intents and purposes, identical. Pick the one that looks best to you and/or that is the least expensive.
If you don't plan to keep it forever, I'd venture to guess that the matte black one will be slightly easier to sell.

I dig the black, there are lots of them at my track. Really don't care for the standard bar though, it feels humongous (the endurance bar is even worse though!)

That all black has a sense of stealth to it, but that little bit of red has gotta add, what? At least 5hp to it?
I think I'm going with the '13

Good choice. I have a Felt TK3 , maybe form 2011, got it in white because that's what they had. Truth is with so many black bikes on the track, I'm easy to pick out. I do agree that there may be a higher resale value to a black bike

Picked it up today! Man it's so much lighter than my budget bike and feels so comfortable. Disregard the pedals, I haven't swapped them yet.
