Left Arm feeling, Heartrate, Feeling Dead After Hard Rides

When I went to see a surgeon about gallbladder issues I brazenly told him that I had always been under the care of three specialists-Dr. Cannondale, Dr. Nike and Dr. Bow flex. He said fine. I'm not here to tell you to change anything. But I do see statistics in my long years of daily practice. I occasionally run across active individuals with no history of smoking, alcohol abuse or weight issues. I have yet to find one who has achieved immortality.
You can't just draw a line in the sand and stand there with a chip on your shoulder. Your symptoms are classic warnings, especially the new fatigue. You likely need a stress test that will reveal the source of issues that are heralding a serious event. Listen to your body.

Speaking from personal experience (two heart attacks, two stents) don't ever ignore potential cardiac symptoms. When I had my heart attacks, the first symptoms I noted were decreasing exercise tolerance, slow recovery and odd intermittent aches and discomfort in my arms and neck. I never really had classic chest pain but I had lesser warning signs a week or two in advance. The first time I went to the clinic because I thought I had come down with something. I had ridden a 50-mile gravel ride the previous week so didn't even consider that the symptoms might be heart related. Because my father had a heart attack at an early age, my PA ran cardiac enzymes with my other labs "just to be safe" and was almost a shocked as I was when they came back elevated. About a year later I again started feeling off my feed and I had actually been in for EKGs and labs twice over a couple of weeks and was scheduled for a cardiac stress test when I had a sudden worsening of the fatigue along with a general feeling of unwellness. I went to the ER. My EKG and first labs were good. It wasn't until a follow-up round of lab tests that my cardiac enzymes began to show elevation. Still no classic, crushing, substernal chest pain, only fatigue and mild, vague discomfort at times.
Hopefully the OP has already gone in for testing, but for anyone else experiencing symptoms, the advice that has been given by some in this thread is sound. Get it checked out.

Yep. I just had a stress test this morning after experiencing some odd disconnects between breathing rate and HR and a little discomfort. Test went well. Tester said that at 72 I have the physiology of a 47 y.o. active person. Cycling is good for you. Waiting for meaningful results.
