Hi guys, I am looking to invest in a DD smart trainer. Have anyone had the opportunity to try both of the choices I mentioned above? I really like the size of the Kickr (Wahoo) but it seems loud. Is that the only drawback?

PS: with the time time change and rain its getting hard to get outdoors so I am thinking of getting on Zwift during the week after work.

Just went through the same process myself and opted for the Kickr Snap (2017) as the best option (ROI) for me. One key point for me is that most of my riding acquaintances who have purchased a smart trainer bought the Snap, which gives me many sources of help and advice if (when) I need it. One interesting thing is that they all use Zwift but I’m still deliberating between Zwift, TP and Sufferfest. There are numerous reviews of your selections on YouTube including a direct noise comparison of the Kickr vs. Neo by DC Rainmaker. In addition to DC Rainmaker, I found the reviews by Shane Miller to be most helpful.

I went with Kickr3......its ready for the Wahoo Climb option which is the overall reason I went that route to begin with.

I'm very pleased so far, but have not had the opportunity to try the Neo which I also hear very good things about.

I doubt you would go wrong with either choice.

You don't need to calibrate the Neo, weekly spindowns, or constantly update the firmware (more fixing error, not much re expanding use). They really need to drop the price down by 10%-20% to be on par with some of the newer offerings. Between it and CompuTrainer, it was a no brainer but now it's being out classed.

I'm kind of in the same boat and also looking at the Kickr along with the Direto and Hammer.
