Wahoo kickr climb compatable with Tacx neo smart?

I am running my Tacx Neo Smart with Zwift, does anyone know if the Wahoo Kickr Climb is compatible with my set-up?

In a word: no.
The only trainers that are currently compatible are the Kickr and Kickr Snap trainers that were released in the summer of 2017. Here's the link.

No such thing as the KickR Climb. You have to wait for release to see the what and how's of it. When I first started riding indoors I thought "no way" I could use one, but I am so smooth now that I think I could ride with incline, no trouble. One would need a tall ceiling and I don't think the Climb would be able to keep up with changes in Zwift.

I am guessing it would only need a Grade variable, so it might work with other trainers, who knows? It is in Wahoo's best interest to sell the most units so...

No the issue is that the KICKR '17 and KICKR Snap '17 allow your dropouts to pivot when clamped. This is critical so that there's no damage to the frame. In a normal trainer setup if you pick up the front of the bike the trainer will tip up too...or will rotate with a lot of resistance. This would be bad for the frame if you used the KICKR Climb as you will be torquing on the frame at the dropouts.

Wahoo says (and this may be purely to prevent lawsuits) that the only compatible trainers are the 2017 versions of the KICKR and KICKR Snap because of the pivoting ability at the rear axle.

So to the OP. The answer is NO. Not compatible with the Neo.
