Nike Heart Rate Monitors

Does anyone use a Nike heart rate monitor? How do they perform? How are they compared to Polar? I was looking to buy a HRM this weekend, and was about to settle on a Polar, and then saw the Nike ones at WatchStation store. I bike into work now and would like to train for an hour or so before going in and thought a HRM would help me train better. Like I said, I was going to get a Polar, but Nike's looks more like a real watch that I can wear when not training.

Whetever HRM you decide to buy, they really do add to your training. I find myself responding to the nagging and pushing a bit harder to maximize my time in the zone. I am usually encouraged to go a bit farther and a bit longer. Reading the output of the "file" at the end of a session is usually rewarding.

I use polar and really like it. I suppose though that any HRM with good features will work.

I have not used the Nike HRM, but from my experience with other Nike products, they are not very good quality and break down quickly. Stick to their shoes and clothes. Leave equipment to other companies.
