Tell us about those plates and screws in your left hip.

That was from a crash in 2002, on a wet mountain road. Broken into 4 pieces. The ER doc said hip replacement, ortho doc said “no worries, I can fix it”. Still going strong — the joint, that is. I’m slower due to age.

Does that mean anything?

I would have thought 91%tile would take a larger helmet.

What 91st percentile?

I'm 1st percentile in bone density. Basically at the low end of low-end. I sure hope that's wrong .

I've never had a DEXA scan but from what I found you need the T-score. If this was a scan you scheduled on your own then it might not be conclusive.

What I found...

Which did you get?

I took this to mean that you're thick-headed. Which, to be fair, doesn't mean that you're big-headed.

Ha! I didn't see that. I have no idea how to process that. Maybe I'm just too thick-headed.

I got the full-body DEXA, so not diagnostic of osteopenia. I'm going to ask my doctor if I should get a diagnostic scan.

Thinking that it likely should be OK for *diagnostic scan* just for possible future reference. My 3rd Diagnostic will be later this year since Prostate Cancer diagnosis 10 years 11 months ago today. My Bilateral Orchiectomy, 10 years 11 months ago tomorrow has done a job on bone mass and density along with muscle loss, fat increase resulting in strength and endurance being shot to hell.

Do your best to remain STRONG and HEALTHY :thumb:.
