excercise bike instead of a trainer

thinking of getting a used exc bike we all know they are out there. instead of a trainer for keeping in shape thru week in winter then riding on weekends. any thoughts?

i hate riding my excercise bike, it feels so akward.. i am saving for a trainer/rollers now because of it...
