I just purchased one of these about a month ago.
Cycle-Ops Magneto
My wife made a few comments about this one being too noisy for the living room so gave it up for the Cycle-Ops.
Cateye CS1000
Both are first class trainers.

The main reason I like the 1up is the fact that it actually feels like the road. I've tried other trainers and they all felt artificial. The 1up has 40 seconds or so of "coast down" which means when you stop pedaling, the wheel keeps spinning. It is VERY fluid...just like actually being on the road.
Also the range of resistance is HUGE. It goes down to almost nothing (feels like your spinning down a flat road) and it goes up to 3000 watts.
Definitely check it out and look at the comparisons and reviews.

Cyclops Magneto!! No question about it. Resistance is smooth and even, I don't have any complaints about noise. A lot cheaper than the fluid. I have about 400kms on it in about 3 weeks and I love it.
