Yet another recovery drink question
I watched Rick Mercer Report last night and he interviewed an olympic speed skater and she was drinking a concoction of gatorade, protein powder and greens+ as a recovery drink.
Any thoughts?

I'm no speed skater nor even a speed bike rider. But recovery is important to me because of my aging boomer body. My perception of recovery is not just after a workout, but a daily thing.
I go to the health food store and order an ounce of wheat grass and drink it right then and there. At home I get an organic berry from the Brazilian Amazon. Its called Acai (ah-sigh-ee). Most health food stores carry it. It comes in a blended drink or a frozen smoothie package. I blend it with bananas, oranges, and flaxseed and yogurt.
