Weight Loss this two week period: 2.4 lbs

hmm... had a two week business trip, and I didn't do horrible damage. I'm a bit worried that I've fallen out of some of my strict habbits (logging all my food daily, etc...). Hopefully now that I'm back home I'll get back in a routine.

Weight Loss this week: 2 lbs

2 lbs per week is just about my goal. My cardio work is way down since getting back from a 2 week business trip, I need to get back on the bike!

Still waiting on getting the funds together to order my bike next week.. so in the meantime it is light walking/pushups/situps.

I didn't really capture numbers up till now.. but I started at around 305 at the beginning of the year.

Wow. You guys are really "cooking." Nice jobs.

I, on the other hand, gained 2.25 pounds this week. Argh...

Weight: 55.75 lbs above target weight
This Week: up 2.25 lbs
This year: up 0.25 lbs

No mystery. I ate too much and didn't exercise enough. I will do better this week.

Down 1.6, I've completely falling off the excercise wagon, and haven't been on my bike 2 weeks, and I've got a 9 day bussiness trip comming up :/ I'm still eating pretty well, but need to get the cardio back in the mix.

03/26/06 259.0 after going on a 5 day bike tour, eating everything and anything before after and during, I have officially fallen off the wagon. I thought for sure that pedaling 400 miles in 5 days would have made it impossible for me to do anything but loose weight, but I was wrong!!! It should not be any surprise, I was eating CRAP the entire time, and eating way to much of it too...

Time to Re focus.

hey mike, I wouldnt feel too bad, you probably just gained some water weight due to the crap (ie. excess carbs) you were eating. that will fall by the wayside pretty quick after you get back to your low carb regimen. From my own experience with off the wagon excursions, I'd say give it a week or two...

I just got back from a two week business trip, and will be back on the road for a week in three days. So my diet hasn't been ideal, but not a disaster... more troubling, I haven't been on my bike or done any other cardio excercise in a month.

I am happy that i was able to maintain my big loss from last week. I have not actually been on a diet for quite a while... i have not actually dieted since like 3/05. I plan to start again on more of a diet plan tommorow. it will be very interesting to see what happens!

i started my diet in april and i just began biking on june 9. so far i'm down 25 pounds from 290-265. i try to bike 5 days a week, at least 7 miles per trip. i'm gonna shoot for 10 miles on my ride tomorrow. basically i just cut out soda, snacks and reduced my portions quite considerably. i eat a lot of lean pockets and drink lots of diet snapple peach iced tea mostly. i'm hoping to get down to 180, but 170 sure sounds better.

25 pounds in under a month is pretty extreme. Are you eating enough?

April, May and June is 3 months. June being the only one he's been cycling. 2 pounds a week doesn't seem unreasonable for someone starting out in their 290s.
