Fresh bread!
I just took two loaves of hot fresh bread out of the oven.
Wish you could be here to join me. There is REAL Wisconsin butter to melt on it and REAL wild flower honey to drizzle on it too.
Just to make it special, I ground up some malted barley grains and mixed it with the flour. HOOoooeeee! Dat be good, my friends.
The whole house smells great.

Since returning to the states The Wife
(or swmbo) and I decided that packaged bread
S*CKS. So, its been fresh, home made, non machine
bread at our house for the past 2 years. Mostly Rye
and French (some pumpernickle too).
Of course this is the reason I need to increase
my miles significantly, and needing larger
shorts. . .
best served warm, with real butter, or cheese.

Even better yet, for me making bread is therapeutic.
When I have something on my mind, I like to bake bread. Of course, bicycling is a good stress reliever too, but sometimes it is best to stay around the house. On days like that, I bake bread and then the whole family can enjoy it.
I hope they don't figure it out, or they might start making trouble just to get some fresh bread out of it
