Groin strain

I just got a groin strain:eek: about a week ago and I was wondering if there is anyone here that can recommend a different kind of wrap other than ace bandages? These things are annoying me, not too tight, not too loose and without fail I have to tighten it every so often throughout the day.
If you do have recommendations for a kind of wrap, could you also recommend an online retailer that is trust worthy?
Also, any other kind of advice you guys/gals can give to help speed recovery would be greatly appreciated. :) I don't think the strain is bad enough to constitute seeing a doctor as ther is no muscle spasms or bruising, just an annoying little sting every so often when I step the right way. The sting is located down there in the crease but I can feel the warmth of blood further down the inside of my leg when I walk for too long.

Thanks in advance for the advice and recommendations.

I'd see a physical therapist if you can.

Luckily, it looks as though it's probably not bad- I had a groin pull and I was in bed for a couple of weeks, then walking with a cane for another couple of weeks, then a very slow recovery for many weeks after. I never quite recovered the flexibility in my inner thigh/adductor muscles. :(

I would also suggest whirlpool therapy if you can get to a whirlpool.

I had a similar groin strain a couple of years ago. Fortunatly for me, I was on a lacrosse team at the time with a trainer who gave me a very good wrap for me. So I've no clue what the wrap was or where to buy it.

I second the whrilpool recomendation, those things can change lives.
