Fitness Level Question
My particulars...45 Yo, weight was 235 now 192. Started regular cycling in January.
Here are my stats from an 25 mile morning ride. (I use an edge 305 with Motion Based). Can anyone rate my "fitness" from this information? Is this poor, average, or good performance/fitness?
Total Time (h:m:s) 1:24:11 3:17 pace
Moving Time (h:m:s) 1:24:10 3:17 pace
Distance (mi ) 25.56
Moving Speed (mph) 18.2 avg. 31.8 max.
Elevation Gain (ft) +1,064 / -1,061
Avg. Heart Rate 142 bpm Zone 3.7
Thanks for the feedback.

Sounds exactly like me, except I cant avg that speed. My 25 mile loop is actually 23.50 miles and I do it in 1:24:00 (around 17.2 with 1500 feet of climbing.
Sounds like your in pretty good shape.

Thanks for the feedback...Its good to hear that I'm at a respectable level of fitness. This course is relatively flat. A thousand feet up and a thousand feet down. It is pretty much all in one stretch this two large rolling hills.
Motion Based with the Garmin is great. I also like the training software that came with the Garmin. The Traning Center allows you to look at weekly and monthly totals along with calories burned. I do not think that Motion Based provides that type of info.
