Cycle training for 5-7 year olds

Does anyone know of any good websites/contacts/resources for training young children in an off-road situation? I am looking for games/activities to help kids gain the basic skills before they become road users.
Thanks, Daniel.

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

First I ride with my daughter who is 5. I have a trail a bike (the one wheel bike that attaches to the seatpost of my bike). This gives me complete control of where we go when we are riding on the streets. It allows me to actually get a good ride in and you can actually feel them helping you out when they really pedal and not just glass pedaling. We have done many rides over 20 miles, and even one "race" (it was actually a charity ride but I called it a race as my daughter wanted to do a race).

Otherwise I would suggest looking in the Recreation and Family area of these forums:

They have lots of info. There is even a guy who rides a tripple tandem with a tandem trail a bike attached to it, so it is him and 4 kids all on one contraption!
