Any suggestions?

You mean this thing?

They start at 3,500 Euros and I doubt there are any in the country. If there are, they wouldn't be for sale. You'd have to order one from Germany.

A Cardgirus might be as good a powermeter and is definitely more versatile in its software and is only 1,800 Euros.

Looks like you can buy them here? From Canada?

are you really going to spend that much on a bike that goes NOWHERE? Sorry to be such a buttinski, but man, oh man that is one spicy price tag.

I THINK THAT LOOKS PRETTY COOL! :D

Is that what you're getting Koffee?
How much is that in American bucks? Looks like $1,950.94

I think that's just the on-bike powermeter, which I use on my road bike, not the ergometer which costs more and is an even rarer animal. This kind of item isn't typically kept in stock but ordered on demand.

Sorry Koffee so late in replying...I bought mine used locally from an ad I saw in the newspaper...$750.00 U.S. including the computer it was hooked up to! Not a bad deal at all. The trainer outputs include watts, speed, time, climb gradient, heart rate...basically everything you want to see. In addition you could buy the coaching software package that will store measurements such as average heart rate, watts, etc...and graph your progress through a workout. You don't really need to purchase this unless you are super serious about your training.
The actual trainer allows you to race against previous performances or a robot rider that you can give a specific wattage output to.
This trainer is truly the cat's meow and the nice thing is you can really do workouts such as tempo riding in a perfect environment. Friel is a particularily strong advocate of the computrainer.

Ok - went for the Cycl-ops Fluid 2 today. Getting cold, wet, and dark here in Massachusetts - had to do something!!

Going to get some training tapes to try and keep it interesting!

Set the Cyclops up the other day and have taken a few rides - nice machine! Fairly basic, but a nice motion. Add a HR monitor and I am good to go!
