eating too much, then too less
got a new job that basicallyis a construction job. but on some days, i dont do anything. then the next 3 days i could be shoveling rocks for 4 hours straight. on top of my job i have been biking 50-100 miles a week. ive been using fitday to calculate my calories but found i was getting too crazy about it. even with fit day there would be 3 days i would hit my target calories (according to fitday) then the fourth day i would go nuts!!! hungry all day no matter what i ate. then i would go back to just eating normally. this has been going on since i started my new job. i havent gained weight, but i can see love handles forming and my butt being more flabby! (too graphic for you?)
so what can i do to help maintain proper calorie intake. seems like on days i do a lot, i dont eat enough, then when i dont do anything, i eat too much. this is creating a bad cycle for me and i want to stop it. HELP BF!

I'm afraid there's no magic pill: just self discipline. Some tricks to possibly help include drinking a glass of water or chewing a stick of gum when the urge to eat hits. Eat small meals often, spreading the calories out evenly.
And, of course, bike more.
