Five Boro Bike Tour...What are the marketing people thinking?
Okay this is a purely personal rant but somebody should alert their marketing people that they are making a big mistake.
I am really excited and looking forward to riding the tour and participating in the "madnessl". After registering, I go on line to purchase a jersey and for a recreational tour with 35,000 riders, the only jerseys being offered are a race cut style. The xxl fits a 46" chest according to the sizing chart and it's the largest size available. I'd bet that if they sold 3xls and/or club cut jerseys, they would sell tons more.
Having been born in Brooklyn and growing up on the Island, riding NYC streets without traffic is going to be an experience of a lifetime. I'll buy a tee shirt but a jersey and shorts would have been the perfect souvenier.
