Can't Eat after riding

I read that you should eat within xx minutes after a ride both carbohydrates and protein .

After a ride I can't stand the thought of eating. Maybe an hour later I can feel an appetite. Any tricks to get an appetite. I am 6'-2" and only 160lbs. Anyone have a similar problem or am I a freak?

This happens to me sometimes too. Mind you, after the hour or so has elapsed I eat like some kind of gourmandiser. A lot of people like to talk up powerbars to eat during the ride, or other things to eat at specific times. Personally I think the importance of this sort of stuff is overstated. I think overall diet is more important.

Basically, if you're eating enough overall (and not "bonking" during rides) you should be alright.
