Best Pre Packaged Food/MEal?
There are times when just I just do not have time to make a proper meal. What are your best suggestions for a prepackaged meal? Is Dinty Moore any good? What do you think?

No, no no. If you don't have time eat some fruit and raw veggies or make yourself a sandwhich, it really takes no time at all. Pre-packaged meals for the lose. They taste okay i guess, if you like processed food taste. Plus the actual nutrients your getting out of them is diminished alot.

The smart thing to do is make your own ahead of time. I make gigantic pots of a healthy chili, freeze it in individual containers, and and if I'm not going to be able to fix something fresh, I've got it already frozen.

But if you're not much of a chef, or if you need to do something else while your dinner is microwaving (changing a diaper while breaking up a cat fight, talking on the phone, and looking for lost house keys all at the same time is a common scenario in my house), Amy's Organic makes some good stuff. It's pricey, but it sounds like you don't buy prepackaged meals on a regular basis.

There is a company called Khoinoor or something like that. They have vegetarian Indian food that is pre-packaged. It is stuff like Indian cottage cheese in tomato sauce, or rice and lentils in curry sauce. There are no preservatives and strange chemicals. It is 100% natural food. You can mix the food with other things like rice. I will sometimes use their spinach concoction as a base for my lamb stew. This is easy to make, take the lamb, dump it in a pot, add the spinach concoction. Come back when it is done. They also have a microwave meal that is rice and lentils as well. There stuff is awesome and there are no chemical and preservatives. It is probably better than most foods that you make in you kitchen.

I like whole tuna fillets in those foil packages and they say you can heat them on the hum v engine block.
I eat mine cold and just put lemon on it. it's not a whole meal, but it is a very portable protein fix.
