Nashbar T5 Fluid Trainer

Anybody have experience with the Nashbar T5 Fluid Trianer? I know Cycle-Ops is the fluid trainer most discussed, but there's a big difference in price. Nashbar advertises about $135 on their website, and the Cycle - ops is at least $245 from what I've seen. Is the difference in price because of quality, or because Cycle-ops has the brand name? Any help would be appreciated !

wow - I see alot of people read my post, but no replies! Guess that tells me something right there. Should I be adventerous and be the first to check this beast out, or go with the flow, spend the extra bones, and buy the Cycleops?

I have no experience with either trainer. I did buy a cheap mag trainer some years ago. It lasted barely one winter. I am currently using a Cycleops wind trainer. It is rock solid in construction and has held up for years. I've heard that cheap fluid trainers can leak. If I were you, I'd drop the change for the Cycleops.

I have the Cyclops fluid trainer - very happy with it, and it seems to be built to last. I'd recommend it. I saw it for $219.99 somewhere online - have the link in my office at work but I won't be back there till Monday 12/1. Given that I am using it now (I still get out on nice days) until Spring, I consider $220 to be short change.
