Time off, what to do?

In a few weeks Im going back home for winter break for 3.5 weeks. The bike is not coming along sadly. Im thinking about taking a week off, ie no running or anything aerobic leg related. Im going to continue going to the gym for those 3.5 weeks. Should I work on legs? Do some squatting try to get some power? Im not going to lose too much in a couple weeks am I? I will probably start running the second week, maybe every day or every other day. What does anyone suggest to keep my bike related fitness loss to a minimum?

Well since my bike is off being fixed and I can't really ride at night now... I've been running... It's not really my favorite thing.. but it does seem to keep my cardio up... maybe some light running, and leg exercises at the gym ?

Weight lifting?

This would be a perfect time for you to introduce weight lifting to your routine and focus exclusively on building up leg strength.
