Knee issues, not sure whats up

Ive been biking regularly for about 5 years now. Im not a serious rider but usually go out for about 20 mile rides twice a week. Lately ive been experiencing a soreness/pain in one of my knees. The pain is located on the outside of the knee and would seem to indicate the LCL. It makes pedaling rather difficult to say the least. Ive never had any other knee problems and the pain usually goes away the day after the ride and doesnt come back again until another extended ride.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue? Ive had the same bike for years and havent changed the fitting either. I guess its possible that its my form, which can be bad at times although im working on that and still having the pain.

Look up ITBS. There are lots of stretches you can do to help with the pain.
