front knee pain

i have a front knee pain in the left knee after riding for a little distance, about 15 kilometers seems to make the pain really apparent, problem is it really doesnt go away it like stays there for 1 complete day then its gone.

it also does the same thing if i am standing up for a while and to make it worse i cant sit down at my work, sometimes i have to punch out and take 1 hour off just to let the pain lessen (its worse when im standing up than when im biking)

what could it be ? I suppose it cannot really be an improper riding position if does it also if I am standing up

dont tell me i am just like a broken popsicle stick and it cannot be fixed i have a 250 kilometer ride to do in 1 month!

Google PFPS. Patellofemoral pain syndrome aka runner's knee. It's very common, and if you're smart it's easy enough to get over.

Could be a number of things...

-Seat height and/or position (probably not if your right leg doesn't hurt)
-one leg is longer/shorter than the other (probably not)
-Muscle imbalance or tightness
-Ligament/tendon tightness
-Foot alignment / float
-Overly flat feet or overly high arch
-Weak ankle causing your foot to roll in or out

Any of those seem to fit?
