I've been drinking some of them recently and thus far have been happy. I look for the ones that have at least 50% of the vitamins/minerals (some are only 10-25%). One thing to watch though is they are low calorie, so they're not going to give any energy on rides (I supplement with food/goos/sport beans). At a buck a bottle they're iffy on the budget scale.
I do use Emergen'C for electrolytes and vitamins coupled with Endurance drink powder.

They have a lot of added sugar. It's cheaper to drink plain water and take a vitamin pill.

marketing. drink all vitamin water (or lots of vitamin pills) and all you get is expensive pee. Most vitamins have to be absorbed with something with more substance than water.
