My Butt Hurts....
Not saddle sore type of hurt, but my butt muscles hurt, my legs too. I am guessing it is because I have been increasing my mileage. In one week I rode more than I usually do in a month. The only problem I have with that theory is that I ride almost everyday as it is and up until now it hasn't bothered me. Is it completely normal for this to happen?

Bikes: Specialized Tarmac Expert, 2002 TREK 520, Schwinn Mesa WINTER BIKE, Huffy Rock Creek 29er, 1970s-era Ross ten speed. All my bikes are highly modified(except the Tarmac) yet functional, and generally look beat to ****. .

if you bonk or near-bonk it'll cause muscle soreness, even if the ride that caused it was well within your normal capabilities.
did you bonk or come close?

I was really worried that I am not eating enough, or the right stuff, but don't actually know what I should eat...

When you take Long rides you need to Stand Up, pedal in a high gear.
This Increases Blood Flow to your back and butt, as well it lets you stretch your legs

Yeah I do that occasionally if I ride more than 10 miles. My muscles have been sore all day, not just on the bike...it feels that same that it did when I first began riding, like my muscles weren't being used then suddenly they were...

Probably not enough protein to repair. Long rides burn protein. You have to increase intake to match. Try adding 60g whey protein/day in 4 ea. 15g servings before meals. If that's the problem, it'll make a difference in a week. If not, not. It's an easy fix.
