ya I've got it. It is a terrible curse. cliff bars are gluten free and I use hammer gel for long rides. lots of veggies and rice noodles. but nothing has as many carbs as normal delicious gluten. I miss lasagna soooooo much. and dunkin doughnuts, man I wish I could ride my bike, eat some doughnuts, ride some more, and then eat more doughnuts maybe even eat doughnuts while I ride to the doughnut shop to get more doughnuts. With enough doughnuts I could ride to Mars.

Tour de Donut

Kinnikinnick makes donuts. I make lasagne with gluten free noodles from tinkyada. Unos even has gluten free pizzas now . Its really not that bad. I eat a lot of lara bars on rides, gluten free pretzels, gluten free graham crackers, etc.

Kinnikinnickis good because they use dairy. There is a local bakery called udis that makes some decent stuff here, even the dairy free muffins are ok with some butter. Alton Brown from the food network has a recipe for gluten free cookies that is awesome. I make my own pizza, lasagna, pasta, etc. I love italian but its not the same.

You want a good donut look up Celiac Specialties. Their donut holes taste just like dunkin donuts.

is that a run? I was just wondering how ordering food online works. How do you like your TCR?

Making tracks is a 5k run my friends and I do every year to help raise awareness.

I've had luck ordering food online. I've ordered birthday cakes, breads, crackers, etc.

I love the TCR. Unfortunatly Giant is sending a rep to assess some dammage a bike shop did to it. Uhg so worried about that.

mindaugas 01-22-09 09:55 AM

Thats nice Giant is sending someone. I didn't know they would do something like that. Is the bike insured or warrantied against damage from a shop or are you getting an expert opinion or something?

Pi}{ie 01-22-09 11:16 AM

I've called the customer service management with no call back. If the rep says it needs repair/replacement I wont just continue my calls I'm going to threaten a lawyer and go find one. This shop also screwed up my brakes (same time) I have no interest in dealing with the store itself. I also do not believe that their techs will be able to accuratly analyze the dammage they created, hell they didnt even tell me they did this! So I called giant and they told me where to take it and have them call the rep who will be notified of my issue etc so that he can come take a look. At which point they'll decide what the bike needs. If the shop decides they will try to offer me some piece of crap on their floor, if she has to be replaced its going to be a TCR again not a crap ass fuji, or Shwinn sorry. Said conglomerant bike shop can bite my ass I will never take my bike to them again EVER.

mindaugas 01-22-09 12:15 PM

I take it by conglomerate you took it to a chain like Performance, they sell Fuji.

did you try and get the damage repaired by the shop and they denied it or something?
