Have you tried positioning the nose of the saddle? I had severe pain, but nosing up on the saddle "rolled me" back on my sit bones, and I was comfortable afterward.

Chamois butter (bag balm is cheaper and works well) can really help with chafing and getting out of the saddle and standing frequently can really help. You may be increasing your ride time too quickly; it's hard but I'm trying to add no more than 10% per week as spring unfolds.
