Workouts starting to pay off.

I've been working out with weight machines and the cross-trainer at my company's fitness room for about three months now. Alternating fat and cardio routines on the cross-trainer and using the triceps/biceps extension machine and low row. All the work is finally starting to pay off. The weight is coming off, I'm stronger on my rides, and able to ride easier. I'm still a slug on hills, but better that I was. My recovery times are getting better, too. One really nice change is the tendonitis I have in my right shoulder is not bothering me so much. I don't know why, but it sure feels better.

That's awesome! I would start going to free weights here soon. You will get better results that from weight machines.

Remember Muscle weighs more then fat so another good way to track progress is a tape measure.
