post ride nutrition
finished my first twenty mile ride this morning.Anything in particular I should be eating/drinking before and after ride to prevent feeling worn out the rest of the day???

Not morning any more. How'd it go? Guess nobody thought you'd have any trouble with it . . .
Nothing special to eat before, timing, etc. After, a glass of milk is nice. Or a beer, if you've a lactose problem. Chocolate milk is excellent and you'd feel like you were treating yourself.

Good job on finishing 20 miles. I usually get some protein and carbs in within 30 minutes or so after coming home from a ride. It's generally something like a turkey sandwich. I'll follow that up with some Haagen Dazs.
