Whats your favorite Fruit?
I love fruit and eat it all day. Nothing like starting my day with a big glass of blended frozen bananas and a few really ripe kiwis.
Do you guys eat fruit? If so whats your favorite kind?
thanks

Pineapple is my favorite. Then fresh watermelon from the farms in Iowa. Then banana.

Blueberries. I get fresh when I can and keep Wyman's wild frozen around for when I can't. Second choice would be unsweetened dried cherries that I buy in bulk for making energy bars.

NOT cherries!!
I like most fruit, but down near the bottom of the list, in random order, are:
-- grapefruit
-- cherries
-- strawberries
-- paw paw
-- fresh papaya
-- watermelon
-- tomato
I'll eat all of them now and then ... but I like many other kinds of fruit better. One of my favorites these days is mango, and I love mandarin oranges when they're in season.

No ... although I have seen them in the store. What are they like?
I also have never tried passion fruit, but I've heard they are good.

grapes. On hot summer days, you can freeze them and then put a few in a baggy....after a few hours on the road, they are still nice an cool, and quite refreshing as well as nutritious.

Pink Grapefruit's good, with lots of sugar of course.
Also, British Cox apples, in the winter months are just delicious.

I try to eat as much as I can of what's local and in season until I'm absolutely sick of it...then I don't miss it so much while waiting for it to come around again the next year.
Is it spring yet?

Well I don't like being dehydrated. I get plenty of water. As for water content in food, I know it's high, but 96% seems a bit excessive. Trying to save cash at the minute, so I want foods high in nutrients.

Foods high in water content are usually high in nutrients, fruits, greens etc.

I buy cucumber because it's mainly water and next to no calories. I can put it on a sandwich, and have the illusion of feeling full, but have not consumed many calories to do so.

Grapefruit and oranges are pretty awesome, also a good quality apple. I also love berries of any kind (blackcurrants and raspberries esp.). Bananas seem to blow me out though, although I do like them. Oh and dates are the perfect on the bike food

Currently we're eating clementines like they're going out of season... because, well they soon will be. Easy to peel, seedless little gems. Also in season right now and quite tasty are pomegranates. I do get tired of them after a couple and don't mind them being available only a small time a year.
All-time favorite is probably red raspberries. Fresh only though. Like little bites of heaven I tell ya.
Only fruit I'm not a fan of is papaya. Just can't get used to the taste/texture.
