Medial Knee Clicking

When I walk or bend my knee, I can feel a muscle/ligament/band on the medial side of my left knee clicking with a bone.

Does anyone know what this is and how I can stretch it?

With repeated sitting and standing, I feel a burning pain there. Anti inflammatories soon, but I want to start stretching it so I can keep working out while keeping things in touch.

Thanks.

Time for a doctor to look at it.

Don't know what it is, but I don't think stretching helps. I get little dings like this all the time. Usually 45 minutes on the stepmill fixes them right up. Try not to make it hurt. Seems counterintuitive, but exercise works for me. Sometimes a little vitamin I, but mostly not.

I tried vitamin I and it normally goes away. I'll ask my doc next time I'm there.

There has to be a stretch for it. Hopefully it's not a bone spur or something like that, that will need to be filed down though there are worse things than that.

look through this: https://www.orthogate.org/patient-edu...-syndrome.html

I have a clicking / bumping tissue issue with my left knee. It got real sore at one point and I had to take it easy for a few weeks... I did some research and firmly believe it is plica-syndrome. I was able to relieve the symptoms when I changed to cycling shoes (did 1400 miles in tennis shoes in '08) and then some geometry adjustments, though I still might feel it for the first few minutes until I get warmed up.
