Nutrition Certifications

Anybody know of a reputable nutrition certification programme that can be done at a distance?

Yes. It's called "university". You can get a reasonably reputable nutrition degree out of it. Getting a certification is a bit of an overkill unless you intend to use it to advise others. If that's the case, then college boy is your new name!

If you're just looking for some good knowledge, you might want to try getting some good books. Offhand, the best book I can think of is by Arnie Baker, called "Bicycling Medicine- Cycling Nutrition, Physiology, Injury Prevention and Treatment For Riders of All Levels". It's a good read.

Thanks Koffee, as you point out University (likely a B.Sc) in nutrition is quite a bit of overkill. I was thinking of something a bit more formal that reading a book and applying it but rather some sort of recognised certificate was available from somewhere.
