trainers and shimano flight deck...

Hello all again,

I have been thinking of trainers lately and I am going to purchace one in particular to work on form and so I can work at times that I would not be able to train outside. While I do not care to record miles on the trainer (I prefer to count only actual road miles)I need cadance function for intervals, etc. The flight deck offers 4 bike settings so I could use one for the trainer and one for the road, but a better option would be to use a rear mounted computer. Is there one that is cheep (i.e. not 100 dollars) that will measure cadence? I would prefer wireless but I am afraid that it will interfere with the flightdeck which is wireless. Is there any other options for recording cadence on a trainer?

Probably the best option of course is to just buy another sending unit and magnet for the flight deck but there must be a better way...

Thanks in advance
Just your average club rider... :)

Sigma Sport makes one that I use and like (though had to return one unit for replacement). You can get it online for less than $30 on sale.
