Kurt Kinetic new for under $275

I found a dealer on eBay selling these for under $275. Other dealers say $275 is the lowest authorized selling price, and buying one for less, I don't get the warranty.

Anyone know if this is true or just total crap?

Thanks!!

Not sure, why not contact Kirk Kinetics and find out?

I did...

It's true, at least on eBay. Kurt wants us to support independent bike dealers, and I agree. Thought it was interesting though.

(Can be sold under $275, but not advertised under $275)

I just got one from gottaridebikes.com. It's $275 with free shipping, but there's a 20% off coupon for your first purchase from them. That brings it to $235 to my door. (There's a $15 oversize charge) I think that's a pretty good price.

Came Wednesday and the frame didn't sit level. Sent Kurt an email that night and when I got home from work on Thursday, I had an email waiting from them saying a new one (frame) was going out UPS that day, with a return shipping label for the bent one. That's good customer service!

I set the bent one up with a shim until the new one gets here. Great feel, but it's a lot louder than I expected. Everyone says they're so quiet... Mine seems about the same as my Mag trainer. Anyone else?

Yeah, they're not that quiet. Not loud, but not silent either.
