Great training hill in Laguna Beach!
Went to Laguna Beach to try to ride 3rd street straight up...in traffic!
It's a whopping 30% grade, and driving over the crest feels like you're going over a cliff since you can't see it drop off below your hood!

I used to ride around those neighborhoods a lot. Plenty of steep roads. Be careful though as several riders over the years have met their demise on those streets.

Thanks guys. Yeah, demise as in getting hit by a car! That's why I rarely ride on the street, and do almost all my riding offroad on trails (with my mountain unicycle.) But when I do ride on streets it on much less traveled, quieter, residential streets. Other than that I keep to beach bike paths.
